Here we are changing a bandage and cleaning the wound of a little boy named Diego who had accidentally cut off his thumb two weeks earlier. The doctors did not explain to his parents that they needed to change the bandage and it was getting infected. As a missionary, we are the hands of Jesus and you never know how God is going to use you, you just have to be willing and ready and let His Spirit lead you. Which is what this ministry is all about, being the hands of Jesus and showing compassion, we truly are His hands to do His work to bring Him the Glory! |

David surrendered to full time ministry in January 2003. Over the next few years the Lord molded and shaped him and his family for HIS service. During a short term missions trip to Guatemala, the Lord spoke to David and told him that this was where he was to serve. They returned to the States, raised their support, sold their |

home and was back on the field in less than a year. They served their first term with Hope Of Life Ministries in Llano Verde working there with the children at the orphanage. David also helped with the maintenance of the buildings and installed a satellite communications system for internet access for the school and offices. The Lord developed a close relationship with a local Pastor and together they ministered to hundreds of children and seen over 100 children make a profession of faith in Jesus Christ! Today they have formed a new ministry partnership and are eagerly awaiting to see what God is going to do next! |

David and his family are back in the States raising support for this new ministry. His wife Beverly recently traveled with him to the new village and also fell in love with the people. David is back and forth about every other month developing relationships and gaining the trust of the people. God is doing some wonderful things through him and his family. Please keep them in your prayers for safety, wisdom, leadership, and God’s provisions, and most importantly that they will bear much fruit for HIS Glory! |
