Here is an amazing story of how God provides our needs. In October 2006 when we visited this village for the first time, there was no structured education for the children. We came back in January 2007 and started a Sunday school program as well as hired a teacher part time. By March 2007 the Government of Guatemala had sent two teachers to the village on a part time basis to work with the children. One of our goals was to build a nice school for the children. In September 2007 the Lord again provided this need through the Government. This school did not cost this ministry one penny. The Lord provided it all in His way. Now the village has teachers and a school. Glory to God! We now are in the process of seeking donations to purchase computer equipment and software to help making their learning experience even better. We will also be providing books and other educational materials. If you would like to help with this need, we would welcome your partnership. |
