This was the first ever 5 day VBS held in the little village of El Senegal. We started the week with about 35 children and by the end of the week we more than doubled our attendance to 85. We had a great time with the children, teaching them that God is real, God is with us, God is in control, God is awesome, and God is strong. Each day there was music, games, snacks, theatre, and Bible. Each event helped teach that days Bible point. When the children heard one of their leaders say that days Bible point, (God is real, Dios es real, etc), they let out a great big EeeeeHaaa! And the best thing is that we had 8 children raise their hands saying that they prayed to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior! Weeks later it was reported back to me that the children are still talking about it! |

These children from Zun Sapote came in the back of this truck for 2 days and then we had to take the van to go and pick them up the rest of the week. We had over 34 people in our 15 passenger van, with room for more. |

The children loved to sing along with the DVD that taught them motions, which were American Sign Language. |
