2019 Vision Planning

As a visionary, I often look back over the years at some of the visions I’ve had, to see where they are, in relation to, where we are now.  It is truly amazing to see that a majority of those visions, are now realities.  How is it that so many visions have become realities?  It is because of four simple principles I have learned and follow:

1) Dream big, don’t try and put God in a box and what He can do.

2) Listen, God speaks in still small voices.  But you have to be listening.

3) Act, step out in faith when you hear that still small voice.  Even when circumstances seem incredibly beyond your control or financial situation, remember Peter stepped out on faith to walk on the water, and just as the Widow’s oil was multiplied in 2 Kings 4 to pay her debts, we must step out in faith equally.

4) Give God the Glory!!!  This is one of the most important steps because it is not through our power that we accomplish great works, but, the Holy Spirit working in, and through us, that we accomplish anything.

In the past 13 years of the ministry the Lord Jesus has called me to do, I have witnessed His miraculous healing power.  By laying hands on and praying in Jesus name I have seen the power of God.  My daughter and I had Dengue Fever while we we were in Guatemala, I laid hands on her and asked God to remove her very high fever and that I could take on her suffering as He did for me.  Within the hour, her fever was gone and she was back outside playing and yes, mine was higher.  I have seen the lame walk by the power of God and answered prayers after laying hands on the feet and praying for these children.  The power of God is incredible and HIS Spirit can and does still work through us.  But we have to dream, we have to listen, we have to act, and we must give the glory back to HIM.

As I have been looking back it truly is amazing what God has done and is continuing to do.  The visions have just about all become a reality.  If you look back on our web site www.hishands.org and read the incredible things God has been doing through a very small ministry, it is astounding.  And we give God all the glory.  As God provides through HIS faithfulness, my faith has grown, as well as my visions. There are several huge visions that I am still praying that God will once again show Himself mighty.

One vision I can share, as this seems to be an area where God has really used us to be a blessing in the name of Jesus.  About 10 years ago as I began to realize the incredible need in Guatemala for clean water, I was looking for ways to make this happen.  I came across a company out of Texas who makes portable well drilling rigs.  This past year through various circumstances (God-cidences), the Lord brought this idea back to mind.  And below is a picture of the portable well drilling rig we would like to purchase and have operational in 2019.

From this photo it does not look like much, but this portable well drilling rig can bore down to a depth of 400′ and has everything we need mounted on a heavy duty trailer, making it extremely portable to go just about anywhere.  The cost of this rig is around $95,000 with container shipping and everything we need to get started.  With this rig we will provide even more Living Waters Projects in our region of Guatemala.

Above is our latest well that produces over 5000 gallons of water a day, enough for the entire village, and the beginning of our mission home.  Which God-cidentally, has a garage area large enough to store the well drilling rig when it is not in operation.  We are trusting God that the mission home will be completed in 2019.  This will open the door for us to do more short and long term mission trips at a lower cost.  We need approximately $105,000 to finish this 3 story mission home and furnish it.  God brought us this far, I am confident that He will provide the remaining balance to finish.

Over the last 13 years, God has been faithful.  He has blessed our work in incredible ways.  I have no doubt that He will continue.  It is His work, His money, we are just the conduit and stewards that the Lord uses for His glory.

I always try and work in our ministry motto at the end of any messages I preach or anytime I write.  It is the heart of what we do and how we operate, and we are always looking for people with the same heart to serve along side us.  Our invitation to go on mission to serve with us is always open, because….We are HIS hands, to do HIS work, to bring HIM the glory!!
