Center of Dreams Project Update

I never cease to be amazed at how God works and provides. We take whatever gift God has blessed us with and offer it back up to HIM, giving HIM the glory, that is when the miracles begin! For the last 18 years of our ministry, we have watched God do amazing and miraculous things over and over. We have seen what man would say is impossible to do, God just laughs at and says, watch this. Matthew 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Center of Dreams Above Medical Clinic

As we continue to dream, pray, listen for that still small voice of the Holy Spirit, and then step out in faith, giving God the glory, this is what HE can, and will do, if you give HIM the glory! We were recently talking with our builder about how God provided for this project financially, and it was under roof in less than 6 months, he corrected us, it was only 4 months!!! Praise God! We still have tons of work to complete, and still need tons of money to finish it out and purchase everything we need, but when you trust God completely, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE!

Before construction is even finished, God is using this space. We had the ladies from Reach Out Guatemala come and meet with the ladies in their Milk for Life program. This program provides baby formula and milk supplements for babies, toddlers, mothers, and at-risk children. Through our clinic and Reach Out Guatemala, together we have ended childhood malnutrition in our community. Now with the additional support from Reach Out Guatemala, we are able to reach outside our community to help others in need. The goal is to find and help 100 more at-risk children. The baby we laid hands on and lifted up in prayer has early signs of Leukemia. We are praying for complete healing in the name of JESUS! This was a special day, many of the mothers raised their hands for salvation.

The need to teach Basic Electrical Wiring and Standards in Guatemala is greatly needed, to say the least. It is the wild west when it comes to electrical wiring, anything goes as long as it works… The Lord placed on my heart to come up with a basic electrical wiring course and teach it. For the first two classes I covered all the basics and the importance of grounding and using a set of standards for the proper cable sizes and colors. The third day was a hands-on class actually helping to run some electrical circuits for the classroom and light it up.

This will be our computer & technology lab. Once the walls are painted and the ceiling is finished, we will build workstation cubicles along the walls. The stations will host a variety of learning tools like laptops, musical instruments, electrical and electronic equipment, science, and other learning tools used to spark those dreams. The wall in front will host a large flat screen which will also be used to teach the students.

This multi-purpose room will be used for other activities such as VBS, Bible studies and other gatherings. It will also serve as our feeding center for the children. Our goal is to provide a minimum of one hot nutritious meal each day.

This is the future kitchen with the sink and counter prep area in front of the big window. The meals will be served on the open counter to the right. It cost on average around $4 per day to feed each child. This includes the cost of the food, gas to cook with, labor, etc. Would you pray as to how you may be able to help us with these costs?

The photo below is a photo that was taken from our rooftop tower camera overlooking our future campus. Lord willing very soon, we will begin construction on our biggest dream project yet. This campus will be our Center of Dreams main campus. Over 12,000 square feet of ministry space all under one roof. The first floor will have the first surgery center for this region. The surgery center will be used by other ministries such as Hearts In Motion which brings Doctors and Surgeons to Guatemala on short term mission trips to perform various surgeries. Currently they are renting facilities costing them money. Our facility will be free of charge for them and other charitable organizations to use to bring healing in the name of Jesus.

There will also be additional specialty clinic offices for dentistry, optometry, and ultrasound. We will have additional classrooms, and much needed warehouse space, workshop space, and a large production area for our future mission teams to work. The second floor will have a mission home, a large commercial kitchen used for cooking classes, and disaster relief efforts in times of need, and a second feeding center for the children. We will have large open areas for Bible studies and gatherings, and a large open balcony used for special events, crusades, and concerts. We are excited what God has been doing through us and can’t wait to see what HE will do next. Will you join us in praying and investing in the lives of those we serve, for the glory of God!

Below is a slide show based on architectural drawings of what the building will look like. The building will be fully handicap accessible opening the doors for all to serve in the name of Jesus.
