Hurricane Eta Flooding Disaster Relief

For the last 24 hours it seems my mind has been in a constant state of prayer for the beautiful people and country of Guatemala. This has been the worst hurricane to hit Guatemala since hurricane Mitch in 1998. Hurricane Eta brought record rain falls and record flooding all over Guatemala, leaving behind a muddy mess and destruction.

Praise God we had no loss of lives in our little village, however many families have lost what little they had due to the flood waters. Currently we are in the clean up phase trying to clean up and assess the damages. So please keep us in your prayers.

Can you imagine her thoughts?
This was her home.

Earlier today I received a call informing me that we had about 110 hungry children and families in La Linea with no food. My ministry partner Giovanny is en route from Guatemala City with 2 truck loads of supplies, however the bridge is washed out. So Pizza to the rescue.

Matthew 25:35 in action

Praise God we have enough funds on hand for an immediate response, but really need your help for the long term. We have wells to clean and sanitize that were overcome by the flood waters. We have families to help rebuild their homes. And a village full of children that need to eat. Bedding, blankets, shoes, clothing, everything is needed. And we are here to help and bring hope and love in Jesus name.

Bringing hope in Jesus name

There is no insurance company to call, there is no FEMA to help. Us and other caring individuals and organizations are all these folks have. For 15 years my family and I have been bringing hope, to the beautiful people of Guatemala, through His Hands International. And for 15 years, 100% of your donation has gone to help our outreach in Guatemala. Nothing is taken for any administrative expenses or salaries. God has blessed our family so we can be a blessing.

God has been faithful by providing all of our needs through HIS people. Will you be one of those people? https://www.hishands.org/donation-information/
